Steam Coast Trail

Steam Coast Trail

The Steam Coast Trail has become a reality in West Somerset, bringing much-needed cycle paths to the area.

The Steam Coast Trail is an ongoing project to build a breathtaking network of multi-user paths around West Somerset. It weaves walkers, cyclists, runners and wheelchairs through glorious contryside!

Phase One of the Steam Coast Trail was opened in December 2016 and runs from Dunster Beach, almost all the way to Blue Anchor. Phase Two of the Steam Coast Trail opened in October 2018 and runs from Old Cleeve to Washford.

This started life as a Forum 21 project in 2005, but is now a separate organisation. Please visit the Steam Coast Trail website for all of the details, including maps.
